Truce Films, a creative production company based in Melbourne, Australia, is calling out to writers across the globe as we search for developed and engaging - previously unproduced - short film scripts in an effort to increase our catalog of productions.
We have recently decided to up the ante and have made a commitment to ourselves to put more focus towards our creative work, and would like to begin that process by developing short stories. Please note than when we say short scripts, we actually mean it, and for the time being we are not looking for projects over 5-pages in length. Apologies for that, but it is a feasibility thing.
At Truce, we take great pride in our work and like to surround ourselves with not only a talented cast, but also crew and fellow creatives. We would hope that out of the few scripts we select, for each we can produce a product that will appeal to an international festival audience, as well as developing long lasting relationships along the way.
The films we will look kindly upon are not of a specific genre, we simply enjoy them all. What we do look for however are well developed characters and ideas, that are unique, and show the ability capture ones imagination.
You can check out the media gallery at our website http://www.trucefilms.com or view a few selected scenes from different productions at http://www.youtube.com/trucefilms, I think look for productions that have either "Darren" or "Nicky Two Tone" in the name, they are narratives. The rest might be documentary/corporate productions.
Just write your answers directly onto your computer screen. If they write back and tell you the form is blank, tell them the information is on there when you open it.
