I can't live the buttoned-down life like you. I want it all. The dizzying highs, the terrifying lows, the creamy middles. Sure, I may offend some of the blue bloods with my cocky stride and musky odors. Oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "city fathers," who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards and talk about what's to be done with this Homer Simpson?
Does anyone have any scripts for any of the films in the Harry Potter series?
Thanks in advance!
Oh PLeeeeeeeese! Just don't read the scripts before you read the books!
I think this is one of the important reasons that excellent directors are so excellent. They "absorb" reality like a sponge. They manage to take great books and make them into great movies--
Through their eyes and through thousands of eyes because directors often have "that sense" where they are connected to everyone else. I don't think they even want compensation. To see their "view" take shape is enough compensation for them. The rest is: "Give me something to eat. Give me a place to lay my head and thanks very kindly; I'm good."
My recommendation is that people take the time to enjoy the art that's been created in its unaltered form. (She's stupid-- art alters life's form and is just a monkey to it. I know.) Seriously, if you can enjoy the taste of something in its original form, then you have that with which to gauge your next experience.
Please enjoy reading Harry Potter and company. Read it aloud to your children. Enjoy. And when you find that script that you're searching for, you'll be discerning-- a very discerning person. A person with taste. What more could you ask for?
