Hey guys, I'm Austin and I'm completely new here haha.

Well I'm a senior in college, majoring in video production and I created my own class for this semester that some of my friends and I will be taking.

Well, it's a short film class and the professor said that though the film has to be original, we can look online for concepts

I've read about 30 scripts online here at Simply Scripts, but does anyone know of any scripts that are really good, wouldn't require much cgi and could be shot at a lower cost? Would be really awesome if you had any thoughts or scripts that you could throw at me haha. Thanks!

People are sometimes more likely to step forward if you could narrow it down a bit.

What are your tastes?  What are the genres on your wish list?  How many characters?  Any cool sites you already have in mind for filming?

It may seem counterintuitive -- but often the more specific you are, the better the response.

Good luck with your search.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

Genre: could be anything. Really. Well anything except for horror/thriller. It couldn't have higher than a PG-13 rating because I go to a private/christian college so no language or sex scenes. I would like it to be a drama type of film (such as 500 Days of Summer or something...)

Actors: You would know best about characters but the amount currently does not matter. We will be holding open tryouts for the local acting club and then at our college for any students who want to be involved.

Locations: The nice thing about this is that I live in Branson, Missouri. We have many theaters that are locations we could use, anything on our college (buildings, farm land, stages, classrooms). In addition, we have tablerock lake, some various cliffs, shooting ranges, and some of those dig sites where they get rock or whatever haha.

Anything else I can throw out for information?

You might want to look at some of the recent OWC (One Week Challenge) scripts.  They are shorts and some of the recent ones had religious themes to them.

My Scripts:
SHORTS
Bed Bugs
I Got The Shaft
No Clowning Around
Fool's Gold
Five Days for Redemption

TELEVISION
Father, Forgive Me
Sheriff of Nowhere
