Greetings all,

I have been coming and going on these boards for years (20 years almost!). I owe so much to SimplyScripts for getting exposure, getting stuff produced, etc. I have worked with a few writers on the boards in the past so, I hope, they can vouch for me. In fact, I've been working on a new television series with Michael Kospiah as cowriter for several episodes. We have completed the first episode and premiered it in Guadalajara. In conjunction with the new series, we have started our own streaming platform (filmforthemasses.com). We know there is a need for film makers to make some money to be able to do what they do, especially short film makers. Right now we are offering to host short films created, produced, or acted by Latin American filmmakers only at this time (we plan to expand in the future). We are offering to host Latin American short films (45min or less) on the platform for rent or buy. They do not need to be Spanish language only a majority of cast, crew and production team needs to be from a Latin American country. 30% of all earnings from the rental or buying of the film will go directly to the film makers. The filmmakers will own the rights to the films and can be taken down at any time, if you want. There is no cost for submitting projects.

We want to democratize independent film making and create an avenue for revenue.

There will be a screening process as all short films submitted will not be listed on the site.
