"The best Batman film since Tim Burton's original" is what Harry Knowles called this- I couldn't agree more.

Thank God for Sandy Collora!  Though it's only eight minutes long, "Dead End" packs a punch.  A punch that will knock you off your feet and kick you while you're down.  I have now seen this movie four times, and every time it's like seeing a comic book come to life!  Every shot (especially the one where Batman slowly rises from the ground, his cape rising up and cloaking his entire body) looks like a panel taken right out of the source material.

Thank God for Sandy Collora!  And the two surprises!  Though it doesn't sound too professional, HOLY CRAP!  Granted, after you encounter the first surprise, you'll probably figure out the second one.  Still, made for a mere $30,000, this one's incredible.

Thank God for Sandy Collora!  The story begins with The Joker breaking out of Arkham and Batman is hot on his trail!  After trading a few blows, each character delivers ferociously good dialogue (especially Joker) before Batman (much darker than the movie adaptations) slams Joker up against a wall, and... well that would give away the surprise- though, if you think the twist is stupid, beleive it or not, this battle was a comic book mini-series.

Thank God for Sandy Collora!  The actors are incredible, and Clark Bartram (who plays Batman) is wonderful!  He's able to make Batman seem dark while still making sure the viewer doesn't forget that he's the hero.  As for Andrew Koenig (who plays The Joker), he's able to play Joker the way he's supposed to be- absolutely insane.  For having to compete with Jack Nicholson, Koenig comes pretty close.

Thank God for Sandy Collora- God willing, he'll get to make a feature length Batman film someday.

I've not seen "Dead End" yet(although I want to so, so, so bad), but I must vent here. I must speak outloud of how bad the live-action Batman films are. The first Batman, while not the worst comic book movie ever(that goes to Batman & Robin), might as well be called "The Joker". They seem to spend so much more time on him than Batman. Another thing, we hardly see Batman! When I come to see a movie about Batman, I want to see Batman. I don't want to see Bruce Wayne for two hours. Also, the Joker in that movie is so incredibly overrated. It's just Jack Nicholson being Jack Nicholson. He has no insanity or psychotic rage that the Joker truly needs. Not to mention that Jack Nicholson himself is overrated. As for the rest of the films, they're all just as boring and dull. They have no memorable scenes or good dialogue. It's all just really bad actors(save for Micheal Keaton, Michelle PfeifferGeorge Clooney), doing really bad lines, directed by a really bad director(Joel Shumacher can direct, just not Batman). Tim Burton is an alright director, but he could use some work. I can name off the large list of horrid actors within these films off the top of my head. Val Kilmer, Nicole Kidman, Alicia Silverstone, Chris O'Donnel...the list goes on. So to close this rant, let's hope Christopher Nolan can re-boot this film franchise with his new Batman film. As for "Dead End", I must see it. Now.

Uh oh, i know you didnt just slag off the whole batman film franchise!! The first batman and batman returns are works of art, classics! While Batman forever jut slips behind but is still a good film. The dialogue in batman returns is really good i think, thats why i put one up in best lines from movies thread! I also dont think that val kilmer is a bad actor, chris o donnel is quite annoying though and Nicole Kidman is quite bland. But the first two batmans are definately great films!!...

Its a god damn shame, please somebody explain why they sent these bad boys 2 play a grown mans game...

They tried to go hollywood and sign on Jim Carrey, why would there be a comedian in batman? But I thought if it wasn't so bright and weird how batman never has the same girls and always looks the same played by different actors each time

Batman is either the biggest pimp or has bad writers making him different each time, cartoons followed a story, movie and sequels to them do not half the time that's what they should catch onto

I find Batman and Batman Returns boring, dull and stupid. It's like he's only Batman when it's absolutely needed. As for Batman Forever, then the movies really started to suck. Joel Shumacher takes over, and now we've suddenly got neon-lit street gangs and a horrible looking Gotham City. Gotham is supposed to be dark and scary. Plus the Riddler and Two-Face are so over-exaggerated. And what the hell is with the Riddler's hide-out popping up overnight? I understand you like them, and I respect your opinion, but nothing will ever top the fantastic animated series.

Batman: DEAD END is an amazing fan film. I remember reading about how the director left Stan Winston studios anfter he failed to recieve credit for something he did or made. So he went of with some other guys and made this film. Using his background in special effects and design really paid off. These guys are cult heros amoung fans of all three franchises.

The Batman series got worse as it went along.  The first will always be the best; the last one will always be the worst.

ifilms.com has the Batman:  Dead End.  It also has a pseudo trailer called 'Grayson' which is worth looking at.  It's about Dick Grayson hunting for Batman's killer.

this film is highly overrated.  i do agree that the actors are good and it finally gets batman back to the dark side that he is intended to be at, but when you have batman fighting aliens that is where i draw the line.  i'm a huge batman fan and as soon as the alien dropped in i lost interest.

i did however love Collora's WORLD'S FINEST trailer.  that was superb.
