All i must say is... WOW!

What a slacker. One of the movies ever. The first 2 were great but this one brought it down... a lot!  Let me use terms that the director might of said.
1. Lets "gangster" this film out.
2. Let's make the final fight scene short and dumb.
3. Let's try to make the movie good with one-liners

These are some of the things that the director was probably thinking while making this. Really one of the worst final installments ever. Wait till it comes out on video. If you see it and say its good take Ryan Reynold out of it and see if you still think it is good.

I thought it was far superior to the second one.  That said, it was still crap.  That said, it was the sort of crap one can find vast entertainment in...like Con Air.

My take on things.

I now know why Wesley is suing over this bitch slap of a film, don't call it Blade if it's not even a Blade film... This was like calling Batman a Ninja Turtle or Spiderman the Godfather, Imagine that? No, you can't throw new main characters in to get rid of the star, key word being STAR.

Sure I enjoyed Hannibal King and the boney shower chick, what's her name again? I kinda forgot in all of the shower nonsense. This film should be called Nightstalkers and no doubt it would have done industry average like most of these films.

Wow, how two actors and a director can kill Blade... That was a moment of silence for the death of Blade.

Other than that I'd say this is a one liner action flick with no pulse but who am I to judge.

In the end I give it a 5.5 out of 10 because with nothing else it was enjoyable. I haven't watched the dvd features but no doubt they will mention Wesley in the commentaries and if not well they should because it's his shoulders that supports the whole franchise.

I was really disappointed in this movie .. Dracula? Oh dear god. Vampire pomeranian? What was the purpose of Ryan Reynolds anyway, all he did was get his a** kicked by the same two vampires throughout the entire movie. However, I liked how Jessica Biel listened to her I-Pod while she "hunted," if I were a vampire hunter, I'd do that ... the action was good and it was a movie you could veg out to. Some of the fight scenes were well choreographed and I liked the weapons especially the bow with the ultra-violet laser.

The dvd features are pretty boring, the commentary with Ryan, Jessica and the director is funny and the other technical commentary if nothing else is enjoyable.

They said there might be another Blade but I doubt it, I'm not sure if Wesley got angry before or after these commentaries were recorded but the idiots also kinda said this film was meant to get them a Nightstalkers deal but not in so many words.

Ryan was good comic relief but I think with the two of them taking Blade and making him a minor character kinda like what happened to Whissler in part 2 was a bad idea. Terrible, Terrible way to end a franchise with such contraversy and underhanded bull----.

I think if Ryan was not in the movie. The movie would suck period. Here are the problems i had

1) Dracula (Russian Porn Actor looking guy mhm)
2) Acting was not nearly as good.
3) THE FINAL FIGHT SCENE! holy shit. the final fight SUCKED ASS. they ruined it.

I agree, it was his film, he stole it with his average acting performance... He showed some personality unlike Wesley Snipes. The only scene in the film where I thought he showed any personality was when the guy outside the body farming place said but they'll kill me and he says 'I'll kill you motherf---er"

I know Wesley Snipes made Blade a non talkative character but those one liners get tiring after awhile especially when you look bad ass and use a fight double for your fight scenes. Two major fights, one being the final one Wesley wasn't in it. Why is this? Did he realize they were screwing him before they filmed it and left or did he not want to do it? I watched him on a special feature practicing with the porn star Dracula guy but in the film it was his double.

I don't think it was if Wesley wanted to do the fight scenes or not. I think they had to use a double so he would have a lesser chance, of becoming hurt, or injured.

Overall, I think the whole cast was great, except maybe the Dracula guy. Biel was a good supporting actress, so was ryan reynolds for comedicrelief.

The last fight scene sucked a**. It was only about 3 minutes long or less. I think trinity was better than the last two. Id give it 7/10.

I give it a 10/10, awsome movie, asome action, and asome tight shots of Jessica Biel in her tight cloths.

Sure Ryan Reynolds was funny in the movie. I meant what was his use in the "Night Stalkers"? But I, too, was bored with Blade. I thought to myself "is that all he does, just stand there?"

I actually didn't really like the first Blade, the second one was great, and this one just seemed to commercial, you know. Goyer just took a loose and almost incoherent plot, added a few lame and what felt like obligatory fight scenes and one liners. I have a feeling he just picked up a book on how to direct, browsed through it, skipped over the part on directing actors, and began filming. The "Night Stalkers" not that anyone really gave a damn who they were, did jack shit. Ryan Reynolds got his ass kicked for much of the film, it's amazing he hadn't died sooner. Jessica Beil was sort of hot, but again did nothing much. After watching "Blade II" I wanted to see a "Blade III", after watching this, I really don't want to see a "Blade IV."

Did anyone else think this looked like it was made for tv? All the shots of them ontop of the buildings during the day looked really unimpressive too. I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I think that David.S.Goyer is also writing Batman: Begins.

Don't you mean already has? And whether that is the case or not he's not directing it so he can't ruin it or add in new characters that kill Batman like he did for Blade. So let us look on the bright side and remember it's another persons call on how to make the film.
