This is a completely stupid and ignorant excuse for a horror film. Not scary, boring throughout, weak acting and dialogue, un-intentional funny moments(esp that Sara girl "wheeling" down the road at the end), super bad ending, and it is full of plotholes.
I got a copy on DVD for free. I watched it, the begging was slightly entertaing but from then it went completely downhill and the plot got really ridiculous and boring. They took an interesting concept and ruined it.
Check out my Script:
Feature: "Candy: Inspired by the Houston Mass Murders" Horror, Drama - 15 year old drunkard Wayne Henley gets caught up in procuring his teenage friends for a serial killing psychopath. 117 pages
I'll admit it's a better concept than it is a movie, but I don't think it's a complete dud... It starts out well enough but, like tyou say, gets progresively worse as it goes on, and the ending truly sucks.
I believe this is supposed to be another of the movies that got ruined by the studio producing it.
I was watching the commentary and the director said something that made me laugh and wonder... What would the commentary on a porno be like?
I haven't really watched this film, just most of the commentary and the special features. The features are cool but not long enough. I might have to try this stuff myself because it looks like some crazy shit can go on and you actually hear voices.
The film from what i've watched wasn't terrible. I know the ending though which was an accident. IMDB doesn't mark spoilers very well.
This movie is on my "Okay" list. I mean, yes everyone has said it, it has a good concept and everything, but I just don't like the fact to where they made the three "shadow ghosts" (whatever they are) be able to interact with real people when ghosts are barely even able to create a poltergeist. But it did have Keegan Conner Tracy in it (but with a small part) and I like her in Final Destination 2.
