This was on my list of to see's but since it was only 6 bucks I purchased it and was it a steal, I am looking over my shoulder just in case they made a mistake. Ha-ha

It's basically a buddy picture with the two friends going around sampling wine, one seems very sophisticated and the other is your comedic oaf, I'll let you figure out who's who. The story flows well and if you like chick flicks for guys this will be for you but enough about the story because this is about the DVD.

Features:

Commentary by Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church - If you get the chance listen to this because it is pretty funny; imagine smart humor instead of the alternative.

7 short deleted scenes with director notes beforehand - He also added the scenes in the film that come before and after so you could see them in context which is cool.

Behind The Scenes - Not long but cool nonetheless.

That's about it... Anybody else have problems hearing this bad boy on DVD? I found the voice quality to be less than stellar and really hard to hear.

Film 8 out of 10
DVD Features 6.5 out of 10

Yes! I thought I was just imagining it when I thought I couldn't hear it very well. I was constantly turning the volume up. I got a shock when I switched it off at the end and TV came on lol.

"Are you saying I'm crazy!?"
"Oh no, but I'm certainly thinking it loudly"

I've noticed that the sound isn't good when I play a DVD when my VCR is on.  It has something to do with the copyguard.  Maybe this has something to do with it?

Well I'm happy that it's not just me ha-ha I guess I'll have to live with it because it was good while it lasted.

All I have to say is thank goodness it had subtitles.
