Does anyone else watch this? It is by far my favorite sitcom that is currently on T.V.
The charactors are what make this sitcom. Each charactor has a brilliant personality adding it's own humor to the show.
Another extremely good part of this show is how the plot all seems to tie together, leaving you wanting more. It is just, well, I think it is an extremely good show and if you have not yet watched it, I recommend that you do.
FOX has cut their episode order from 22 episodes to 13 and put the show on hiatus for a month. But many people do see this as a sign that the show is getting cancelled.

The Final Episode of The Lunchroom Coming Summer 2010
Also, I'd like to add this is my favorite comedy (this and "Scrubs") and I'm getting tired of FOX shit canning every show of their's I like. "Futurama", "Wonderfalls", "Undeclared" all of them gone in favor of more seasons of "Wife Swap" or any other new reality show they come up with.

Yeah, it's a real shame about "Arrested Development." Though it hasn't been officially cancelled just yet, unless its ratings triple, it's probably not going to be around much longer. And, yeah, Fox is the worst at canceling really great shows far before their prime:
"Futurama" is still one of my all-time favorite cartoons. It was like "The Simpsons" with a philosophical edge.
"Family Guy," though ressurected, was canceled due to Fox's poor management. One week it would come on Thursday at nine, the next it would be on Tuesday at eight.
The live-action "Tick" series had an awful pilot episode. Unfortunately, it probably turned away alot of potential viewers, as the rest of the episodes produced are fantastic. Sort of like "Seinfeld" with superheroes. Luckily, Fox at least gave this one a DVD release.
And, finally, "Andy Richter Controls the Universe." Why this show was never too popular, I will never know. The least Fox could do is throw it on DVD. Unfortunately, nothing is availible now and nothing is planned for the future. "Universe" was probably one of the best live-action television shows since "Seinfeld," and it is a shame that many missed out on it.
Fox cancelled all my favorite shows like Boston Public, Greg The Bunny and I guess that's it. Fox has produced a lot of very bad shows, need I remind you of Method and Red?
Maybe DVD sales can bring this show back like FG was but AD had some original ideas and in today's market original is a bad word... They want more Everybody Loves Raymond (But me) garbage that old people watch and kids who think that's what real life is like. If you believe this garbage is entertainment and you really want to be a writer write like this because they will buy anything that is just so poorly put together and sold as a series.
I forgot Andy Richter, I enjoyed that show and Quintuplets which was another short lived sitcom of his... They were the kind I hated (Not the controls the universe one) but I have my weak moments as I enjoy some people.
Got to support starving actors, I mean bad ones who can't really act so much as make people laugh. Like almost every comedian who got his own show... Even Will Smith's Fresh Prince series was a little bland acting wise to begin with but that's his style so bland it hurts. Same with his wardrobe.
Final thoughts... I wish I could grow a beard "Sigh" and I'm out.
Emmys won't keep your scripts from stinking. This show was alright, I was never a big fan though. Malcolm in the Middle looks to be cruising into its last season, but I think its ratings may have jumped since Fox showed a rerun in its original Sunday time slot.
And yeah, Fox doesn't give many of their shows a chance at all but they're willing to throw out all of their money for this reality garbage like "The Princes of Malibu." Who actually saw an episode of that shit? Honestly.
Oh well, that's big business these days. Thank God they brought Family Guy back.
God, I pray ABC picks it up just because I do not have Showtime. Though, I think NBC would be ideal. If "My Name Is Earl," "The Office" (the best television show currently on network TV), and "Arrested Development" all aired in one giant block of funny, I would be extremely pleased.
