Failure to Launch
5.5/10

Failure to Launch I really didn't care to see but it was other this, Aquamarine or Shaggy Dog, so I went and saw this. It's about a 35 year old still living at home and his parents hire a woman to make him fall in love with her and move him out. Now, other than the fact that this movie was exactly like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days it was an okay movie.

Mathew McConaughy played the same role as How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, he really didn't bring anything new to it and Sarah Jessica Parker, did an okay job, I'm not a fan of her but she wasn't that bad. The movie felt pretty long, it was beyond predictable, we knew what was coming but in the end they took forever for it to happen, while it was 95 minutes it could've been 80. The only reason I think I'd watch this again is Zooey Deschanel, she was hilarious in this film and the subplot of her with a mockingbird! For me, the co-stars of this movie carried the film without it, this would just be boring! But, comparing this to other recent romantic comedies it wasn't that bad it's a good summery movie, if your bored it's worth the rental fee.

Overall, it's not nearly as good as How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days but it's not completely horrible and I would suggest it just for the cute and funny subplots.
