This was just crap. I think this deserves the "worst film of '06 award". But the year is only half over. It will be hard to beat this in the suck factor

Sharon Stone returns as novelist Cathrine Trammel. This time in ?scotland? she goes off a cliff in a car with a man inside. She escapes, is questioned, and forced into an evaluation of her sanity by a therapist i will call David Glass because I dont remember the character name. She proves to be his toughest case yet and he testifies in court he believes her to have a "Risk Addiction". But he is obsessed with her. As the movie progresses, he gives her therapy sessions, and becomes even more infected with her personality. Eventually a whole bunch of people die and we never see who the killer is and blah blah blah.

For the most part this was a carbon copy of the first film. You dont actually see her kill anyone, although its like O.J....you know she did it. It was not as eventfull or as suspensefull as BI was simply because we have seen it before.

For all you pervs out there, she does get naked it is however brief. You get no below the waist line shots, and its not near as frequent.

Although it pretty much copys the first film, its just flat, boring, and it doesnt work. Something was missing.

I would give it 1/2 * out of *****

I saw this in the theatre, and that was money well spent

On the plus, this movie was hilarious, there are a lot of big laughs here, I don't know if they were ment to be or not, I have a feeling they knew they were making trash and just decided to go overboard with it, I mean the opening scene is a hoot

This movie is bad, real bad, one of the worst of the year,  but it's not boring, you will be entertained, just not in the way you would think.

I thought this movie was fuckin' hilarious. It took itself so seriously, which probably made it funnier. I think Sharon Stone's performance should be in a museum, or something, because it needs to be immortalized.

so bad it was "almost" good. Look at how long this took to get made (and how much money was spent on it) and feel ashamed at the writers/directors who could do better but never get the chance...

If you wanna compare UK movies and Canadian movies there is no comparison, we produce much more crap.

He's right. Anyway, I don't care about dragging up an old thread because I only recently saw this movie, and having said that, it had such a strong impact on me that I just had to comment on it.

This movie is crap. Worse than crap. The performances are terrible, the plot has so many holes that its more hole than actual plot. But did I enjoy the movie? Hell yes I did. It's one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had watching a movie. I cannot remember the last time I laughed so hard, rolled my eyes so emphatically and I especially can't remember the last movie that made me smile at every single line (my favourite of which being Catherine Trammell's who, after being asked why she doesn't seem terribly upset about the death of her boyfriend, is heard to remark: "I'm traumatised, who know's if I'll ever come again".) There are plenty of instances of this kind of dialog and it's enjoyable, even if it is trashier than a Harold Robbins novel.

There are several keys to enjoying this movie and the first and most important is: take absolutely nothing seriously. Once you've realised that the plot doesn't make sense and the events unfolding are simply there to jerk you around, then you'll have a lot more fun with it. You can sit back, relax, not try to think about it and just enjoy the ride. That's what happened to me, and this is a movie that I absolutely love hating so much. My second viewing was even more enjoyable. The second way that one can enjoy this movie is to completely forget that the first one was even made. There is nothing in this movie that can top what was done in the first, either in gory kills or steamy, sexy moments. While there are graphic, doggy-styled sex scenes aplenty in BI2, it doesn't compare with Sharon Stone's famous "Have you ever fucked on cocaine, Nick," moment from BI. Ditto the kills. BI2 hits a 4 or 5 (I think, it's hard to know if anyone actually died at all in this movie) on the body-count-o-meter, there's nothing quite as enjoyable graphic as the icepick going straight through Johnny Bos' eyeball in the opening scene of BI.

In short, never in the history of cinema has there been a movie more brainlessly genius. Either it should be counted among the worst and least important works of this or any era of film, or it should've been awarded Best Picture at the Oscars. I'm not sure which I'm more pissed off about, the fact that the movie was so bad, or the fact that so many people don't seem to appreciate exactly how trashy it really is. I was on IMDb the other day, deliberating as to what star rating I should give this movie. I was seriously tossing up between giving it two stars (because I enjoyed the London locales and the cinematography was excellent) or ten stars. I really couldn't decide, and in the end I asked Jordan for his advice, to which he replied:

10 cause it funnier than anything ever made before

He was right.

Cheers, Chismeister.
