Feast is the third film from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's Project Greenlight, and this one is totally different than the first two, this isn't a coming of age film, not in anyway.

This time around Matt and Ben brought Wes Craven on board as one of the producers because this one is right up his alley.

This is a creature feature that goes all out.  This is sick, disgusting, grotesque, repulsive in every way, it is also one hell of a funny flick.

The movie is simple, really simple, a group of people are stuck in a bar and there are a group of flesh eating monsters that want to eat them.  That's it, nothing more, nothing less.  In the first fifteen minutes we meet the characters, then after that it's like the last hour of from dusk til dawn, wall to wall carnage.

The way the characters are introduced is very funny, it freezes on the character, then gives their name, job, a fun fact about them, and their life expectancy.

Jason Mewes (jay form jay and silent bob), is funny playing himself.  His life expectancy read : already past expectations.

There is a cripple kid whose life expectancy read : now you don't think we'd kill a cripple now do ya, that made me laugh, but the best one has to be the little boy, he's about 8,9 years old and his life expectancy read : a full and wonderful life, in the next scene he is ripped into a hundred different pieces, his guts splashing all over the place and his foot spat across the room, this is some sick stuff.

Then we meet the hero for all of 30 seconds before he is sucked out of the window and decapitated.

This movie also has a monster sex scene, and one of the nastiest things I have eve seen.  One of the monsters gets his dick stuck in the door, so they blow it off and it hops around all over the place, ends up down stairs and goes after the crippled kid.

The nastiest scene has got to be when one of the monsters is mouth raping this one legged woman, she spits out what looks like a mouthful of milk, but I'm pretty sure it ain't milk.  One of the monsters even humps this stuffed dear head that's on the wall, these are some horny creatures.

Basically for the next hour and a half it is attack after attack after attack, lots of blood, slime and gore, plus a lot of laughs, this was funnier than most comedies I have seen.

So if your into movies like the evil dead or from dusk till dawn you may get a kick out of it.

This is one of the scripts Don has up on the Scripts page.  I read this some time ago and it was a fun script.  Quite a bit like something one of us might write, actually.

It starts off pretty much as Jordan describes, with the introductions and all, so it sounds as if the movie might be pretty true to the script.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

I read a little bit of the script right now, the opening is different, no hippie in the cave scene, plus they cut out a lot of the characters, and changed some around, but a lot is the same.  I'll have to take a look at the whole thing sometime.

I've also read the script (though I'm not sure if I read the whole thing or just half). Thought it was pretty good. Nice balance of humor and splatter. I loved how the supposed hero is the first to get shredded (with the exception of the boyscouts who, sounds like, didn't make it into the movie... oh well). I have yet to see the movie. Looks good though. From what I've seen in the commercials, I've gotten a real old school feel about it. Perhaps I'll check it out over the break.

man I wished they kept that boyscout scene in, I just read it and it was hilarious.  I watched the making of thingy they had on the dvd and the director said the first two project greenlight movies were coming of age stories, so he decided anyone in the movie who seems to be coming of age will get  eaten first...LOL
