Yup, a thumbs up for me.

Same kinda spoofy humour as Anchorman (which is one of the greatest comedies ever made) I truly enjoyed the rock fest of this musical style film. Not completely musical of course but I was surprised at the parts that were actually musical. Kinda like The Sound of Music but with fucks, dicks and a whole lotta rock and metal piled in. All music in the movie, I think, is Tenacious D themselves... which is very cool, this film is truly theirs and, maybe not completely personal, but on some level it kinda could be... without the fantasy and fables in it.

Jack Black, he's genious I think. He's just JB in this all over and funnier than ever before. Kyle, his friend and almost brother, is funny but I'm afraid out classed by the JB man.

Some scenes are hilarious, I won't mention any scenes though, and some are a little too over the top but all in all, a good mash of rock, humour, JB and Tenacious D. I've always been a fan.

If you like Tenacious, JB or KG, this movie will rock your socks off. Oh, and watch out for the regular cameos from Ben Stiller and Tim Robbins. Classics.

7.5/10 Cool, makes you wanna pick up a guitar and play (fortunately I play) and it rocks

I may be an idiot, but I'm no idiot.

I saw this last nyte and i akm kinda crossed. Jack Black love him but i expected more. I also wanted for him and Kyle to burst out with Tribute bt that just didnt happen. I still do not know what i think of it. Just one of those films i guess.
