I was a bit on the fence about the BBC airing a partial fifth season.
Sadly, Elisabeth Sladen passed away during production.
But, the first half of the season was already shot.

The final six episode arc ended today, and I'm glad they pressed on.
It's fun children's sci-fi fueled with messages of cooperation and compassion.

Ms. Sladen, as Sarah Jane Smith, was my favourite companion of Doctor Who.
She always asked the Doctor those annoying exposition questions with pluck!

Bless her for still fighting the good fight against alien tyranny in the face of cancer.
We were lucky to have her with us for a while.

LOL! I am a colonist.
Though I'm often accused by Brits of being an anglophile.
I grew up watching Sarah Jane and the Doctor on public television.
I watched a lot of public television. WGBH Channel 2 out of Boston!
