I've seen alot of terrible movies.  I really have.  I can definitely add this one to my list of possible worst movies of all time.

This pile is literally unreal.  I mean...seriously...WTF?  For reals?  Damnit...where to begin?

I'm going to jump around from comment to comment just like this movie jumps from plot point to plot point to absurdity.

You know the name George Furla?  He's a bigtime Producer type and about 85% of everything he touches turns out to be downright terrible.  I seriously wonder if he's purposely trying to make awful movies.

We all know the main stars here and I'll tell you they all give piss poor performances.  Just terrible.  I know 1 big reason that drives these laughable performances, and his name is Brian Tucker, first time screenwriter.  Somehow, Tucker's script was picked up (as a Spec script) back in 2008.  It sat for some time in some kind of development Hell and then went onto The Black List, of all things.  The anticipated $60 Million budget was cut to $35 Million, and things got moving in 2011 with Allen Hughes (1/2 of the Hughes Brothers) directing.

In all honesty, this could easily be in the top 10 worst scripts of all time (for a serious movie with serious money and star power attached).  It's just downright ludicrous in every way imaginable.  Dialogue is cringe inducing and I wonder if this set a record for characters using other character's names in dialogue (Mark Walhberg's character is named Billy, and I'd bet $100 that peeps say "Billy" at least 50 times).  At times, during dialogue exchanges, 2 characters will use each others name back to back, over and over, in literally almost every line they speak.  The plot is...terrible.  Character actions, reactions, and motivation is...a fucking joke, really.

Oh fuck it...should I go on?  Yeah, I will.

The "plot", if you want to call it that, is so convoluted and involves so many completely unimportant characters that it's just shocking anyone would think this was a well written and conceived script. It's just amazing how many plot lines go nowhere and then characters just disappear, never to be seen or heard again.  Just crazy!!

I have to imagine that all the actors here have to be embarrassed.  Brian Tucker should be ashamed of himself and hopefully laughed his ass of all the way to the bank.  Allen Hughes has proven he can't direct on his own and should never try again.  And, old George Furla?  He's obviously found a way to have a career producing some of the worst movies of all time, like this crapper, Alex Cross, Conan the Barbarian, 88 Minutes, and of course, The Wicker Man (with Nic Cage).

It doesn't get much worse than this, and I truly mean that.

Just fucking terrible in every way imaginable.

This film was a super slog for me too.
There's TV movies from the 70s with more grit than this.

I'm a little surprised Wahlberg would sully his brand like this.
He was on a roll with The Other Guys, Contraband and Ted.

Between this and Pain and Gain, not a good 2013 for Marky Mark.
