An Anthony Cawood script, always a pleasure.

This one read well, as I’ve come to except.  Gaz reminded me of The Doctor in a way and the banter between the two characters is good.

There’s not much going on though. This feels just like the very beginning of something. They basically wish themselves to time travel during a leap second. A novel approach. So what next? Where do they go from there?
This scene is begging to be turned into a funny time travel adventure.

Thanks Mark/Vancety

Mark - you are spot on, it's the start point... I've got this idea in my head for a series of short time travel comedies, where the time travellers are a bit dim, stumble into things, screw things up etc... almost an anti Dr Who... maybe as a web series.

This was my initial piece, so glad you liked.

Vancety -

Thanks

Anthony

Hey Anthony,

I'm with Mark here, this does seem like it's leading to something bigger.

I enjoyed the dim witted banter between the two characters and the it's a cool idea but I wanted a bit more...

It was decent though.

New member here.

I kept reading the short over and over because I thought I missed something important like a deep subliminal message or a hidden plot twist.

Ha ha but good read anyway.

Chase/Alffy thanks for reading...

Chase, welcome to SS and no there's no deep message, well, apart from that leap seconds and the measurement of time in general is completely a human construct

And yes, it's a short short, and as I mentioned... self contained in itself, but potentially the start of a series... see how the muse takes me.

Thanks again for the comments

Anthony

Anthony,

Good work.  I'm not sure why the clock keeps working.  If they jumped back, then wouldn't the clock join them?  And wouldn't they find themselves?  But those questions don't pertain to this script.  Not needed.

Good job.

Best
Richard

Thanks for the read Richard, much appreciated.

Re Clock... hmm, maybe I can switch that up and have it stopped due to their experiment... thanks.

Good news, mate. Only just read it now, to be honest. Not much to say on it, but that doesn't matter as it's going to be made anyway. Well written, novel... that's it.

Well done.
