Scapegoat by Brian Lakes & Doug L. Starks - Drama, Suspense - William Kaine, captain of a prison, has a reputation for a violent temper. When inmates turn up dead, all evidence points to Kaine...but did he do it? 105 pages - pdf, format
I've read a short section of this so far however; I believe that there is very little in it so far that has not been attempted before, I can't find the reason why Dansk has such strong ties with Kaine, and why the warden would have faith in an employee he has been derogatory to from the outset. There is also the arresting of Kaine in front of Prisoners which i'd find very difficult to accept as the norm. A bit more research into legal precedent would have heplped here, also during the arraignment scenes. but to end on a more positive note, the descriptive nature of all that is happening is first class, I could very easily visualise all that was happening.
Sorry for being so shitty, but this is what i gathered from it so far.
