It's weird and interesting as it stands but there is something incongruous about the ending. Perhaps it is the juxtaposition of time periods and the change of character of the little boy. Maybe if the transition were clearer...

Thanks for the catch on the misspelling of Quiet. I did it. I did it. I did it. I beg your pardon.

Hey spencer

Wow what a bleak story and I was a bit confused by the end.

Some of your desriptions a bit short and I had to read them over but thats probably just me.  I just don't really get the ending?  Is this a drug deal interupted by the KKK?
And Sedric's emotions just switch off or he comes to terms with the murder of his parents really quickly.

I did like this, your writings solid and your formats good but I was just left with an...eh!

Hey Alffy -- Thanks for the read and review. If you had to read it twice it just wasn't the best. I will work more diligently to paint better pictures.

The KKK was a rival drug dealer. They wanted to get Sedric to cough up his stash. He was seeking his parents house as a safe house. Ultimately, the drug dealing caught up with him and his family suffered. Drugs will make you numb to life sometimes thats why he just didnt care too much about the effects of his family. Drugs were what he really loved.
