For something a little different.  If you are in to Peter, Paul & Mary or the Indigo Girls or Simon and Garfunkel you might want to check out Girlyman's harmony-driven style of contemporary folk/country rock/pop. I particularly like Viola and Say Goodbye.  You can listen to a few more selections from their last two albums at Daeomon Records (scroll down a bit).  - Don

I like folk, especially so-called 'lo-fi' folk -- the Mountain Goats, Neutral Milk Hotel, etc.

I hadn't heard of Girlyman, so I downloaded a couple of songs, Viola and On The Air. Harmony-driven is an apt discriptive! They're a little different than what I usually enjoy in terms of folk -- a little less stripped-down, but excellent nonetheless. I especially like the lead female on Viola -- beautiful voice.

Thanks,

Seth

I'm not big on this kind of music, but I really enjoyed Viola.
