I just got Final Draft 7.  Is there a way to take all my scripts currently in Word and move them to Final Draft?

I suspect I may have to do some work on re-formatting, but if there's an easier way that cut and paste and re format, please let me know.

What you want to do is save all of your Word documents as Rich Text Format(rtf).  You can do this with the "Save As" option.  Then go into Final Draft and open it as you would.  You may want to select the rtf option in the "files of type" option in the open menu to make it easier.  

Look through your script because 95% of the time there's formatting that doesn't convert properly, so you'll need to fix that manually.

I don't know how to do it, and my scripts always end up with that sample page attached to it.

Saving the title page on Final Draft:  Fill the title page out, then go up to "File" and click "Close".  That will bring you back to your main script and then you just press save and it's saved to the script.

It's that easy?!
I've always filled it out, then had to print it because it would disapper when I closed it.
I'll have to try it on my scripts.

I've had trouble with title pages too, I save them but then it just goes back to default.
I've also found that the title page doesn't appear when you save as a pdf.  I usually complete the title page then cut it, paste it as my first page on my script (centre again) then save as pdf but change first number page to 0 as to not include title page as page 1

Hey Alffy, all you gotta do is go to "Tools" then click "Options".  That'll bring up an options window and you click on the "Document" tab and at the bottom you'll see a box that says "Include title page".  Just click that box and your title page will show up in the pdf.

I hope that was what you were looking for.
