I’m not sure if this has been discussed on another thread but I wanted to bring it up. I am currently about to do a short documentary using my new I Phone video camera. One of the hic-ups I encountered was uploading it to my Windows based PC.

I found that my current movie editor did not support MOV videos so I went looking for a decent package online and found some really nice (free) editing software packages.

The one I decide on was Video Pad editing software.

Real quick upload (3meg) and it was easy to figure out with excellent editing tools. Uploading my MOV file worked the first time and I’m able to use my webcam for voice over and real time video capture and edit.

I know there are a million editing packages out there and for those who are higher up the food chain with regards to movie editing, this may seem amateur but for a  starter-outer like me and for what I’m doing with it, it works great.

Here’s the link if you’re interested. Hope this helps someone.

Shawn, I came across this editing app for iPhones today.  http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vimeo/id425194759?mt=8

Btw, I think there are a bunch of iPhone filmmaking groups on Vimeo.

Have fun and let us see what you made.

I second this!

Famed South Korean writer/director, Park Chan Wook, used this set up.
He shot and edited a film short last year on the iPhone. Check out the trailer...
