Hello SSers,

I work with a small production company in L.A. (Hollywood) and we are looking to produce some shorts. So we are looking for scripts in the 3min - 5min range, a bit over this is fine too, as long as you don't mind if we need to condense the script down further (putting your editor's cap on or as I like to put it: your "darlings" butcher apron on). limited locations and budget friendly. We want to produce a few of them which is why I'm putting feelers out here because of the rich pool of talent on here. Now, unfortunately, there is no monetary compensation, but you would definitely get a writers credit of course. If you feel like throwing a script our way for consideration that would be awesome. If you have any questions, hit me up.

Best,
Keven

What type of scripts are you looking for? Horror? Drama?

Hey Gabe,

We are open with the genre, but probably prefer contained thriller, horror, or sci-fi and mythical which doesn't require too large of a production budget. We have a green screen in our office so there are some vfx we can pull off.

I hope that helps.

Best,
Keven

Would it be possible if you can showcase some films you've guys done?

You can checkout my Mannequin script in my signature box. It might be up your alley.

We primarily produce commercials, now looking to expand into shorts and features.

You can see some of the commercials we've done below.

Hi Keven

Please feel free to check out the loglines of my available scripts at http://www.anthonycawood.co.uk/screenplays/

I've a couple that may suit your requirements, let me know if you'd like to see any of the full scripts.

I've also had a few reviewed on STS, most recent iRobot, and many of my others are on the Shorts board.

Thanks

Anthony

Hi Kevin -

Definitely agree that the above is a link you should check out (disclaimer: I moderate that site myself. I've read 'em all, and will vouch for them.)  It's a free service, pre-filtered for indie directors looking for quality scripts!

That aside, there's also mine and dogglebe's personal sites as well. At these two locations!

Here's a few I'll pitch:

The Flesh Won't Be Missed
A witch and her psychotic boyfriend plan a robbery with the use of a very special candle.

Spring Comfort Horror / Short
An overworked ad executive cannot sleep in his hotel room, due to a demonically possessed mattress

One/Zero/One [room] Two men, one room, a window divider in front of them. One of them thinks there's someone watching on the other side.
