The log was intriguing, so I decided to give it a read. I had high hopes. But only made it to page 54. Unfortunately, the story became monotonous and redundant. It just becaume about Demeter (who is portrayed as the ultimate victim) being abused by her husband and everyone around her. Very weak female character and so it's hard to feel empathy for her. The character of Penelope is SO evil and unforgiving, that she comes off as two dimensional and unreal. And we don't understand why Demeter would even give her the time of day, regardless of the fact that she is her sister. I love a good "slow burn" but this just takes forever to get to the reveal. And I already know the reveal is that they are turning into zombies, but the symptoms of mysogeny and flesh wounds more than halfway through the story is not enough to keep my interest.

However, you definitely have a voice! This is the first script that I've gotten that far into before bailing. So keep keeping on!
