Proof of Work is an algorithm that allows the minting of new coins once complex problems have been solved by powerful, and sometimes not so, computers.

Proof of Stake - of which Ethereum is moving to, is a better system that allows the minting of new coins through staking coins.

We now have others like proof of movement, where one walks and is rewarded in crypto that has a monetary value. Aps like Sweatcoin and Stepn have millions of users all over the world.

So, why not, Proof of Writing, or Proof of Script, where one is rewarded in a new coin simply for doing what they do anyway, writing?
Simplyscripts could step into the metaverse, become a 3D experience in virtual reality, where members earn ScriptCoin for participating.

Here, for example, is a link to a Twitter-style message board that rewards crypto just for doing what you would do on Twitter.

Yes, it is a referral link. If you use it, we will both receive 7.5 XTM, which in today's market is worth around 22c.

Something similar for screenwriters would be a good idea, I think
