Found this and figured I'd pass it along.

Independent Producer of small horror projects is currently accepting ideas/scripts to film and enter in many film fests, Fangoria, Screamfest, LA/NY Horror fests. I'm looking for a story that speaks to me, with wonderful dialogue and visuals. Something I can sink my teeth into as a young horror producer/director. I want a story that has never been told. I want to see zombies kills that havent already been seen. I am looking for a good idea to bring to to life. Looking for a good zombie short script to direct. and I would love develop a relationship with a good writer as I take on more projects. Please send an email giving a short synopsis of your short screenplay.

It has to be a short?

How short is short and what type of zombie movie?

Resident Evil-type, 28 Days Later, Left 4 Dead (Lol), Night of the Living Dead or something different?

I have no idea what the answers to those questions are.  I just posted what they provided.

Send them an email to inquire or pitch your work.

I've had another zombie short in my head for a long time, but haven't had the time to put it on paper.

Too bad.

Maybe someone should give Sean a nudge :)

I thought about submitting my zombie "underground MMA match" script, but I think that's a bit too ambitious.

There's actually a good script lurking inside Sean's 'End of Tape'...he just needs to cut down on the zombie rape, look at changing the structure and I'm sure he could come up with a 20-30 pager to submit to this guy.

There are still some original ideas left when it comes to zombie stories.  The writers just can't be lazy about coming up with them.

I think the guy who posted the add needs to use a spell checker and a better understanding of the English language before anyone hands him production funds.

"Zombies Kills that havent already been seen"

"and I would love develop a relationship with a good writer as I take on more projects."

There's your original Zombie screenplay idea right there...

Homo Zombies who don't want brains, blood or guts... They want butt. Lots of it. I'm sure he'd jump on board if you know what I mean ;)

SirMixaLot's "Baby's Got Back" would be a fitting theme song, wouldn't it?

I actually have zombies in a feature I just finished. They don't eat brains either. They eat genitals. I'm not kidding either. They go around saying things like "must eat *****" .

I hope you understand why I never posted the script here. It's on InkTip though, but I bet no one will read it.  ;D

Now feel free to thank me for saving you all from having to read it!

Gives a whole new meaning to the term, "Brains....  Brains...."

Seriously.

Sorry I just find zombies totally boring. It’s a matter of personal preference and I probably shouldn’t have even posted in this thread. Sorry. Zombies just instantly bore me. I like “Night of the Living Dead” but by now I just find zombies yawn inducing. The trailer you posted started out good but as soon as the zombies entered the story it instantly bored me. I’m just so tired of them. But I think it’s great other people have something they’re really into that they can share together. As long as there’s a market for such films, I can totally understand why they continue to be made.

I can’t help but feel they’re overexposed because I hardly ever watch zombie pictures but yet I’m automatically bored when I see a zombie. Theoretically they should be shocking but they’re not even interesting to me anymore. To me, that seems like a sign of overexposure. But again, as long as it sells, there are clearly people into that sort of thing so more zombies to them.

Just goes to show if you think you've seen it all...... You haven't. And if you think you've come up with it...... You probably haven't.

This beats all, man. "ha"  Absolutley absurd, but kinda funny all the same...

"Comming out of the Coffin"

Wow~

I know, I know, I know!

It's about a zombie who was bitten, but doesn't want to be a monster. He lives with about a half dozen other zombies who only eat animal brains and he falls in love with this human girl but he has to be careful cause he knows she has the most awesome tasting brains ever. So it's like a zombie love story-

Wait, somebody's telling me this has been done before...

How about a post apocalyptic world (Always have to have one of those) being rebuilt after a zombie outbreak. Zombies have all been exported to Africa so they can rebuild the rest of the world... Then, many years later, someone comes along and rounds up a bunch of Zombies from Africa and brings them over to America as slaves...

And then one of the Zombies, let's call him Zombie X, stands up and says "We didn't land on Plymouth Rock, Plymouth Rock landed on us!"

And then all hell breaks loose.

How about a large group of zombies that terrorizes a group of teens in a cabin in the woods?

Somebody just give me my Oscar now.

But of course, the zombies have created a culture since they've grown in intelligence over the years, and they're pretty pissed off that they got kidnapped from Africa and landed back in the US...

I take some offense at this.  Not much, but some.  I think my zombie script is outside the box.  It's fresh.  It's new.  It makes you laugh.  It makes you cry.

The same can be said for Paris Hilton's sex video, but we're tired of it too.

Cut down on the zombie rape? But that's the most exciting part of script! Hell, it's the only exciting part of the script!

But to be serious, humans, what about a guy who's so obsessed with zombies, that he slowly becomes one.......Nah, it's been done...Or has it? Who knows?! Shit!!

One of Nicolas Cage's early films was about a guy who thought he was become a vampire after, supposedly being bitten.

Don't know about a similar zombie story.
