Here's the poll as it stands now. I can edit it pretty easily, so if I've left anything out, then feel free. Yes, I was conceited enough to throw one of my own in there that I think is pretty good at this point, so it would need fewer comments to fix and more to just read. I added every script that was mentioned, except Bre's who didn't want them in at this point, though hers would work well as a just-read as well. Oh, and I didn't pick the order of the answers to influence the vote. I told the poll to randomize the order, so no one's looking at the answers in the same order...
We never heard from Sniper, no. And I just looked and In Brudges is not available online (so it's been removed). Those are simply all the suggestions made laid out in a poll. One of the suggestions was a random script from the site, and the writer did put it out there to read, so strictly speaking Sniper doesn't "have" to say it's ok if there's a consensus that wants to read it. For what it's worth, I haven't even looked up who wrote Dreamscale's "Red Light" suggestion.
EDIT: I just looked and I can't find another entitled Red Light. Um, Jeff? What is that anyway?
I was the first to mention In Bruges i think, as a script that we could discuss at the Script Club. I saw Pia's reaction to it so I knew it was a no-go. Still that script is brilliant for me.
1. Because I know his writing and it's appealing to me and
2. Because of the title and
3. Because my vote for the Oscar nominees is NOT the ones mentioned here and I'm going to keep it my secret which one I love so much. But some people can probably guess which one it is anyways... and
4. Because Mike's comments on the boards make me laugh.
