Well, if that's the way it has to be, tehn that's the way it has to be.

I wanted to cheat and start now.  Guess I won't be able to.  Damn...

Jeff, we've already started; we just don't know it yet.

I'm on page 131...about half way done.  This thing is going to be a true epic.

Now up to page 187.  I thought I was half way done way back at page 131, but I was wrong.  I'm just over half way now, and all 5 characters have been introduced.  I hope I'm not going overboard with my character intros...the last one took 37 pages, but I feel like that rhino is very well developed and quite complex even.

I once wrote a 300 page screenplay.

Seriously.

About 5 pages of it were actually any good (if that). I can still remember this bit of it perfectly - a riot at the Albert Hall. Police rounding up the gentry (this is 1920s London) - one pompous bigwig demanding "Do you know who I am?" as he is thrown into the Black Maria.

And that's the sum total of the worthwhile parts of it!

I plead youth in my defence as I was only 23 at the time!

No one knows until 2nd November when all will be revealed and we can start writing our features.

Alffy and Jeff are joking when they say they have already started.

I think.

Yes, I was joking.  I would like to know the theme though, but I guess there is another OWC starting Friday, so it's not really going to matter.

Niles, you need to enter this OWC, whether or not you like the subject matter.

The longest script I wrote was 140 pages.  recently.  It was a gangster epic.

I'll be up for this one, so long as the theme isn't boring, or if there's a "do what you want" option.

<--------------- Praying for a crime drama! Lol.

That way, I can just expand 24/7 and re-insert all the deleted sequences. =)

I think it could be done. Go crime drama! =)
