Thank you, Don, for posting this !!!

Wrote in 2013, it was remade by a filmmaker in Philadelphia in 2020 and just released a few weeks ago at a few film festivals in Pennsylvania.

I got to see it in an IMAX theater and participate in a Q & A with the audience.

It won the best Short movie award at one of the festivals.

Thanks to SS, of course, from where it was discovered

p.s It's also strange looking back nearly ten years at the old members

Hey Mark,

Congrats with this! Very nice production values and solid acting from both leads. I thought it was touching.

Very nice! It was really sweet.

The 2016 version link doesn’t work anymore, how do the 2 versions compare?

1) Write a bad one
2) Fix it

Hey Buddy,

Glad to see this got picked up and filmed again. Awesome that it won an award too! I haven’t watched it yet, but it’s in my queue.

Hi Matthew

The first version was low budget, around $1000, whereas this was roughly made for $16000.
The first one means a lot to me as it was the first short I ever made from one of my scripts.

Regarding acting and coming close to what I was trying to portray, the 2nd version is superior.

Great job, Mark!

Wow, Best Short, a Q&A, as well as IMAX?
Congrats!

P.S. Something of Jamie Dornan going on with that lead actor.

Thanks Libby. Jamie Dornan, a little Northern Irishman like myself

Dude,

I can see how this little film won an award. Nice performances, understated acting. Great job! Now if someone would just make Arthur The Legend.
