Quoted from Matthew Taylor

“My initial reaction to this was who cares who fished it out of the water. I guess I just didn’t feel this was a burning question that needed to be answered”

I didn’t make a clear point, sorry. I didn’t mean literally tell us who fished it out. They are the first on the scene after a member of the public called in a dead body, the dead body is still there, no one would have been diving in the murky water already to haul out a cinder block they didn’t know was there.

I see what you’re saying now. The cinder block was attached to the dead girls neck with rope, and if she’s out of the water it makes sense that the cinder block came with her. Where the scene begins, they’re standing over her so I figured what wasn’t seen was that they (the sheriffs) dragged her ashore.

Still, for context it may be be a good visual to have Ted seen fishing and hooking her leg or something.

Hey all,

Just a gratuitous bump in this one. Last year this script made the Nicholls quarterfinals, and this year it made BlueCat quarters. No further, unfortunately. Seems we like them quarters!

I second this. Steve, (and Mark & Mike) this a great achievement!
Nothing to be modest about at all.
