Happy Thanksgiving Chris and everyone else as well. This year I can take it a little easier since the twins have decided to cook up a "gourmet" dinner. My turkey is already out of the oven and theirs is in it now...We'll see which one turns out best. Not that we're competing or anything... |

Happy Thanksgiving! I give thanks today for being alive. See, yesterday as I was leaving SD, I needed to gas up. So, I put the nozzle thingie in the gas tank thingie and put the clicker thingie on so I could clean my windshield as it filled up. As I finished cleaning my windshield, I come back around only to see that the nozzle thingie fell to the ground and there was gas spilling out. Shit. But yeah, everything was okay. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. And I'm very much looking forward to a hot, wholesome meal tonight. School food gets old real fast! |

Happy Thanksgiving to all those in the states.
I was sitting here trying to think of Thanksgiving song to quote but couldn't think of one. Are there any Thanksgiving songs?
And Greg, you should be more careful where your stick your thingie.

My favorite Thanksgiving song is "Alice's Resturant" by Arlo Guthrie. It is a 20 minute song that's a lot of fun. They usually play it on the radio. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I did. Now I have to face the crazyness of the customers who have been waiting outside the store since 1 or 2 A. M. for the BIG sales. The line of people usually wraps around the building, and when the door opens, they will be running in like a herd of buffalo. I'm scared... Just kidding about being scared, but I will stand out of their way. Cindy |

Ha ha, no kidding about the lines. We were eating in town around 9:30 last night and there were people in tents out there!! That's kind of insane...

Not so much because we didn't have pilgrims and natives, but more because of the fact that we generally don't have anything to thankful for. A common misconception. Happy TG, yanks. |

You callin' me a buffalo? It was crazy out there. I ended up buying stuff I didn't know I needed and wished I hadn't bought after I left the store. Btw, Sniper and TJ, if you ever come over here, south of the Mason Dixon line at least, you might want to be a little careful who you call a Yankee. Just some friendly advice. |

Haha, thanks Pia! Yeah, I know it puts some southerners on edge. But that's me, I live life on the edge, calling southerners yanks and Irish people British and so on. My edgyness will be the death of me. |

No Pia, I didn't call you a buffalo. I said they ran in like a herd of buffalo. And yes, they did! Only one injury this year. A woman fell while running. She's okay though. There wasn't any fights this year either, so that was good. In fact, people were really polite, then some of them slipped down an aisle, and stole small items ranging from $20 to $90 that I found the empty packages for... I hate that! I think they said the store made $210,000 in the first hour. It was down from last year. |
