Yeah. That's the best scene I've ever seen Alec Baldwin in. Although he was also great in Miami Blues. And what can you say about Al? He's the man. I was going to add his final speech from Any Given Sunday, but I thought I go with something funny. Here's the elevator scene from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

As for the Heat clip, Sniper, I rate that as the best movie gun fight I've ever seen. I was completely blown away by it when saw it on the big screen.

Yeah, it doesn't quiet come off as well on youtube than on the big screen - plus the sound in that scene is awesome.

This one's a little off the beaten path, but I think it's a great scene.

Unfortunately, I don't have a youtube link, but IMHO, the best movie scene comes from 'The Big Chill.'  In it, Sam and Michael (played by Tom Berringer and Jeff Goldblum) discuss sex.



Michael: I don't know anyone who could get through the day without two or three juicy rationalizations. They're more important than sex.

Sam Weber: Ah, come on. Nothing's more important than sex.

Michael: Oh yeah? Ever gone a week without a rationalization?


Anyone who needs to see good characterization and dialogue should buy this movie.

Haha. That's a beauty. 'Happiness' had heaps of wrong (yet funny), scenes in it.
Imagine the poor buggers who went and saw on a first date. How awkward would that have been?

However, my favorite dialogue driven movie of all time is "When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder?" Nearly everything that comes out of Marjoe Gortner's mouth is gold. Unfortunately there aren’t any scenes from it on You Tube.
