My wife and I are going to Scotland and England in June.  There's the SS gathering at the end of the summer.  And I'm working on a book on making mead (I already have a publisher).

Summer school interspersed with severe drunkeness, the disagreeable hangovers that follow, and hopefully a healthy dose of screenwriting. I hope I speak for everyone on the latter. Also going to a music festival this weekend. Should be an enjoyable season.

Job hunting. At the end of April my position was "eliminated" after 15 years, so I am "free to explore other opportunities" as my former employer said it.

13 feature scripts, 2 short subjects. One sale, 4 options. Nothing filmed. Damn.

Currently rewriting another writer's SciFi script for an indie producer in L.A.

Moving house in about a month and watching the Euro Championship. Hopefully have a trip to Prague if I can gather the money. A lot of writing along the way...hopefully.

Same boat. What used to be a steady 45-50 hours a week has degraded to 5-10 hours, if I'm lucky...Hopefully get some new ideas and plan to polish up some old ones.

Working less. I lost one job last May (where I did 90% on my posting on here), and started working two jobs (eight days a week) starting last June. I was only this past weekend able to drop back to one...and then my air conditioner broke. Maybe I spoke too soon. Hope not. I'm tired...

My wife and I just bought a home, so we have lots of yard work and such to keep us busy. Hopefully I'll get some time to start working on my script.

Getting a job, hopefully. I'm so broke and I'm ready to get out of my parents' house. I don't see that happening for at least another year.

I think I'm in that "I want things done NOW" phase of my life. It sucks.

I'm trying to regain my sanity after a long semester.  While doing that, I'm helping my family pack up the house for the long-awaited move out of Ballsac, California and to San Diego.  I also may be working at a film camp in July/August in Hollywood.  Woo hoo.  Now I'm going to eat lunch or something.

If you are going to Scotland I would advice places like Stirling, Edinburgh and Loch Lomond to go. Very good scenery.

Broke writers? That's UNPOSSIBLE!

Personally I'm going to Ireland to meet up with a director who I'm collaborating with on some stuff these days. Then I'm gonna record a demo with my band and perhaps shop for a girlfriend, though I know that's probably not gonna happen.

Is that gonna be the title of your band's first single or are you doing a cover of LL Cool J's 'I Need Love'?

Well, other than enjoying the final year of my 20's, I may be judging at this years' Screenplay Competition for Ciniquest, during the summer, as early as June, if I choose to do so, I'll be reading a lot of screenplays while at the same time being best man at one of my best friends' wedding.

There's nothing more magical in a day of marriage than the toast of a screenwriter.

The only thing more magical is the toast of an unemployed screenwriter. Those are the best kinds.

We only be in Scotland about 2.5 days and will spend that time in Edinburgh (which I've been to before).
