LOL & happy halloween.

Those dogs are thinking:

Darth Dog (VO)
I look like a frigging idiot.

Princess Leia Dog (VO)
I hate these clothes.  So unflattering.

Materials Cost = $4

Time Invested = 5 Minutes

Having countless people do a double take because they're not sure if you're wearing a costume...

...Priceless

Nice one George!

I'm planning on doing the same. I'm sitting poolside with a cold one in my hand and thinking about who I might kill tonight.

I actually woke up an hour early to do this. And those are contacts in my eyes, not photoshop. And the tagline is from The Poughkeepsie Tapes.

It's 5:25pm and I haven't had one trick-or-treater ring by doorbell yet.  Last year, I had one kid at my door.  And she got two full bags of mini Snickers bars.

Phil,
It's been a trend for a long time. Parents don' let their kids run through the neighborhoods anymore. They prefer to take their kids to safe places like the mall, churches, schools and so on... Kinda sad.

Parents are probably telling their kids to stay away from "that creepy old lady's" house.

HAHAHAHAHA!

That was a good one Mike. Took me a moment to get it.

Halloween is just catching on as a holiday here.  I hope it does.  This year there were many articles about kids wanting to trick or treat and instructing parents on what to do when trick or treaters came to the door because no one gets it.  They were especially certain to include the type of treats expected because they were having a problem with parents giving celery sticks to the trick or treaters and that didn't go over well with the kids.

I agree. If the adults take the younger kids and people give out things like pop and chips and the kind of candy that comes inflated in the air puffed up bags, it's easy to check and fun for the kids to be out in the dark at night.

I remember when I was little- my first Halloween- I remember it to this day! Mom took me and I was only 4  or 5 years old and I LOVED ringing doorbells. I think Mom lifted me up so I could ring some of them if they were too high.

We've had about 50 kids so far. For the little kids, I made up treat bags, and for the teenagers, we're giving more of the chips and pop choice- because the little kids love the whole surprise package idea and the big kids like to have a choice. My daughter made up an excellent Halloween display in our yard with "bone guys", ghosts and a fortune teller.

Hopefully we can steal some time and set up a haunted house/fort next year. I love amusement and Halloween is glowing green with scary fun!
