Theme: Clichés, clichés, clichés...

Often, you cringe when you see them on screen; well, here is your chance.

Challenge: Recall the most recent (or most prevalent) movie cliche you spotted. Shape it with your creativity and present it with your unique spin.

Mention the cliche you're tackling on the title page.

Your story must also incorporate ONE of the following elements, which will play a crucial role:

1) Power outage

2) Foot chase

3) Wrongly delivered package

4) Unwanted guest

5) Employment crisis

Genre: Open.

Script length: Upto 10 pages.  

Locations: As many as you need. (Although, budget-wise, you should aim for a singular location)

Time: 168 hours (7 days).


THE USUAL:

This isn't a contest - it's a challenge. There are no official prizes.

You can revise your script as many times as you wish up until the deadline.

Do not include your real name(s) in your script; this is an anonymous challenge. However, please include your real name(s) when submitting your script.

After the challenge closes you can either have your script removed or resubmit your script with your name on it.

(Don's rule)
Participants must read, comment on, and review at least ten other scripts submitted on the discussion board, or their work will be removed (no harm, no foul). I understand that life gets in the way.

What if there are only 9 scripts in the challenge. Will I be eliminated for not reading 10? I mean where to find the tenth script, should I read one from Feb OWC then?

It was to keep it simple due to the script length. But you can definitely go above and beyond.
