Well, I watched the whole inaugural ceremony. I am hard democrat but my whole family is hard republican so it makes for some conflicts.

Your thoughts?

Isle 10- A series I'm currently writing with my friend Adam and it will go into production soon. Think The Office meets 10 Items or Less.

I'm often described as hard myself.

I've voted Republican most of my life; I didn't this time.  The Republican Party have collectively committed political suicide.  Bush painted himself into a corner regarding many issues and McCain completely ruined his political cred, much less any chance of becoming President.

In a week, or so, the novelty will start wearing off and everyone will be expecting him to fix the problems that he inherited.  I'm sure that the war in the Middle East will be over and we'll have all our people home in the next two years.  I think that fixing the economy will take a lot longer.

And I'd like to thank Garth Brooks for completely fucking up the song American Pie.  After hearing that, Madonna's version doesn't sound so bad.

I hope for all our sakes that he will be successful.

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes though. We're in a mess. How come no one has mentioned the stock marked closed under 8 000 today? Anyone who thinks that doesn't affect them because they don't own stocks are just doing osterich imitations.

I actually was never interested in politics. Only around election time was I interested, but this election was sort of different. Now I can't wait to see what happens.

You should always be interested in politics.  It keeps the politicians from doing too many stupid things.

That actually is pretty fascinating.  You get to see what the buzz words were at the time of each election.

I'd actually like to see Bush's first inauguration speech compared to the second.  I bet there's a big difference there too.

Bush - 2000

Yeah, I'd say that's quite different.
