Corey who, you say? Well, if you got a few years on you, like Bert, you've probably seen him in movies like The Lost Boys, Lucas and License To Drive.

Anyway, he died yesterday - apparently as a result of an accidental overdose.

Aye. Another one goes too early. I heard last night about this. Those of you that have fond memories of The Lost Boys will be as saddened as I by his death. RIP

Ironic,
He started using drugs on the set of lost boys and then sadly became one.
RIP.

Hey Led, yes is ironic.  I was quite touched by your words too, which are sadly, quite poetic.  Another 'lost boy'. RIP Corey.

Bummer.  Lost Boys is a favorite of mine and Lucas is also an enjoyable flick.

Two Coreys was stupidly entertaining.  I kinda hoped they'd bring it back just so I can see what they'd do next.

Big bummer.

Be excellent to each other

I'll defiantly remember him.  Which is more than I can say for the A-list celebs of today.  Corey Haim, as I wrote about on my blog, might never be considered the best actor of our time for the roles he was given, certainly made an impression on me and maybe even shaped the youth of his time to some degree.  Kids who lived vicariously through him and his movies in the 80's.

I kept an eye on this sight, truth be told, yesterday... I was tempted to make the thread myself but opted against it.  It shocked me that no one, until today, made mention of his passing.   What shocked me more was seconds after Britney Murphy passed a thread was made...  It's crazy how the times are shaped by relevance.

So if I could say anything to Corey or his friends and family at this time it would be; Sleep in peace and may your dreams be realized...

I'll miss you for what you were and what I know you could've been.
