That's a pretty ambiguous comment, Sandra. Could mean so many things - anyway, I take the most pertinent.

Sure, there's the 'Man in the Mirror' factor, but if society perpetuates its crime of inequality on children and their children and their children's children, your comment means nothing (with respect). The thing is, if you ill-educate children, stifle their opportunities, whilst punishing them for not taking advantage of limited "opportunities" with patronising slogans of 'look within yourself', "you lazy bum" (even though self-esteem has been savaged) - what chance is there to 'start with ourselves'?

Gordon's gone.

Hoggart hit it well here http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/may/11/gordon-brown-sketch

As I just said to a good pal Cameron Clegg sounds like a disease to me.

And it may turn nasty at any moment.

Poor auld Blighty. Will your troubles ever end?

R

Anyways. At least they can now stop wasting money on stupid identity cards. Even the malaise that will be CleggCam will do some good. Shurely?

The fall of a government in pix http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/gallery/2010/may/12/gordon-brown-labourleadership

EDIT: What? I have something to say. It is better to burn out, than to fade away.

Who was that? Oh, yes. Twas Clancy Brown in Russel Malcahy's (sp. maybe) Highlander. Misqoting is my speciality when I've had a few. Drinkys that is.

He was doing that Neil Young thang.

Gordon will become a statesman now. Personally, always had a lotta time for the fella. He got dealt a bad hand, very bad. Did the best he could. Who could do more?

Labour are now in opposition. Again. They'll pull it outta the bag. As they did in the nineties.

I'm glad to report Cameron didn't kneejerk a reaction to those shouting for instant horse bolted type changes in light of the tragedy in Whitehaven. He seems to becoming statemanlike himself. He is a tory, and they were never my favs. However, credit where due.

Now, that leads me to whats going on near Gaza. However, you'll have to buy me a pint and a whiskey or the poison of your choice, if you wanna hear more.

Night all. Keep cohoking.

R x
