So not to toot my own horn, but I went ahead and filmed Cat Match [dot] Com. If you wouldn't mind checking it out/reposting, it would be greatly appreciated.
A special thanks to everyone who helped me out with the actual screenplay. You guys were a great help. My cats thank you!
Good stuff, Will. Always love to see SS members get out there and film stuff. I enjoyed. That one cat was a frisky bastard. Obviously didn't like to be held.
thanks so much everyone for your kind words! really glad you enjoyed it. yeah, in the midst of trying to spread it, but it's a bit difficult. fairly new to reddit, so i'm still learning how to post, promote, etc. regardless, really appreciate everyone's support.
I had a cat once. She was badass, but she died a few years ago on St. Patty's Day. I remember sleeping next to her while she was going... this way she had the comfort of knowing one of us was there for her. I woke up the next morning and she was stiff as a board, staring at me with creepy, vacant eyes. It's definitely a memory I could do without. No other cat could replace her as she had "personality" and that's hard to find in a cat.
As for your little short, who is the girl? She's a cutie.
You deserve to toot your horn a bit. You filmed it. Now it's onto the festivals. Good luck there.

Decent little short, man Didn't get round to reading the script when it was posted, but I enjoyed this nonetheless. And after producing my own short last month, hats off to you for doing this yourself, as well.
Really enjoyed this one - congrats! (The *only* thing I'd suggest is see if you can put in some background muzak with a little more variety....it actually took a tiny bit away from my experience.) But I loved the rest of it!! Acting, script, production value...all good.
