Thanks, everyone.  Your words all mean alot to me.

Per my Mom's wishes, there is no funeral or services of any kind, which is why I'm in Nashville all week on business.

It's been tough trying to be professional on my meetings and not show my pain, but somehow, I've been able to.

So sorry for your loss Jeff. I must admit I had a tear in my eye when I read your update. It was so sad but at the same time I’m glad you got to say goodbye and had some sort of closure. The dream element was lovely.

Keep your chin up and keep on putting one foot in front of the other. People will keep on asking if you are OK. You’ll say yes even though you are screaming no inside, but one day this too shall pass and you’ll say yes and mean it.

-Mark

Thanks, guys.

Mark, you are absolutely spot on in what you said.  I'm mostly OK around others, but when I'm alone, I often break down.

I trust your mom lived a good life, Jeff.  If so, take comfort in that.  Peace.

Yes, she did live a great life, and the cool thing is that she waited to go until after I got back on my feet with a new business opportunity.  While I was struggling last year, the one thing I asked God daily was to let me get back on my feet before anything happened to my parents, because they were very concerned with my situation.

Parents should never bury their children, and children should understand that at some point, they'll have to bury their parents.  It's the circle of life and there's nothing we can do about it.

Thanks again, everyone.  Your support means so much to me.

Jeff, you have a whole family here that cares for you bud.

It's hard, so damn fucking hard.  Lost my dad several years back.  But, it's true, each day is a tiny bit better...  and I do mean TINY...

My advice for you, grieve when you need to grieve.  Part of the process is following the process when you need to.  If you need to get up at 3am and cry, do so.

If you need to go and punch a punching bag, go ahead, pound away.  Just take out the midget

Whatever you need to do, go ahead.  If you need to have sex with 10000 women, by all means, go ahead, just wear lots of protection

Find the things in your life that you enjoy to do.  Keep yourself healthy emotionally and mentally.

It's a daily grind, believe me, but, you can do it.  We all believe in you and we all are thinking of you.

Dan
