Back to this thread again for a little update. The comic based on my script Shaka is really coming along, it should be completed by the end of the year or early next year.

I have two Marvel/DC artists on board for the cover and a variant cover, and another artist who's work will blow your mind currently doing the second variant cover.

Like I said in a previous post, I won't be asking for money from SS members. Sure if you like the story, art, or comic books hop on board and support the Kickstarter campaign when it comes out, but only if you really want to

In the last few days I've gone from having almost no social media presence to having accounts for everything.

The promotion of the book is still in its infancy, but if you'd like to follow along and watch from the sidelines, this is where you can find it.

Congratulations!   Can't wait to see the finished product. Is this your first time doing a project of this nature?

Hi Kevin, this is my first comic book, but hopefully not my last. I love the process so hopefully this will be the first of many.

This was adapted from a feature I wrote. I intend to put the feature on SS later in the year.

I was fixing to hit the request button on your website to read it.  Lol.  Look forward to reading when you post it.

Here's one of the variant covers for Shaka by the insanely talented Simone D'Armini from The Spider King and She-Hulk.

Nice graphics, Warren. Best of luck to you with it!

I’m thinking of rewriting the script that did well in Bluecat since I received very helpful notes from Nichols. So far it’s in the plans.

Thanks, Kham and Dave.

And good luck with the rewrite, it's always a daunting task.

Very cool. The style is very Mike Mignolo-ish of Hellboy fame.

The letters are starting to go in for Shaka issue #1.

Check out the main cover by Bella Rachlin all lettered up and a couple of panels from the book. Letters by Toben Racicot and art by Eli Johnson.

Also managed to build a Facebook audience of over 13000 people since August, this is one of the main reasons I'm not doing much writing at the moment, managing the three social media accounts has turned into a bit of a second job at this point.

Thanks, Dave. I really can't wait to share the finished product with you. You'll clearly see all your hard work in there as well

Looks amazing. I reckon you're pretty pleased.

What social media, apart from FB? Just curious. That's a  good following so far.
Edit: Ah, you prob mean personal, writer website, and FB, is that right when you mentioned three?
