A new website has been launched by Dominic Morgan A.K.A. Scriptfella over on YouTube for screenwriters looking to break into Hollywood. https://www.scriptfella.com/ is jam-packed with free videos and articles designed to give an inside scoop and a creative boost for those looking to hone their skills. Several of the articles have been written by me, and they are rather spiffing, even if I do say so myself!

The two articles in question are:

https://www.scriptfella.com/articles/why-do-actors-and-directors-butcher-our-dialogue

Followed by - https://www.scriptfella.com/articles/screenplay-dialogue-three-ways-to-make-it-zing

Nice article on writing dialogue.

I'm always running those things through my head when writing dialogue. It's nice to see them in a list like that.

Read them both - good stuff, Mark.

I'll just add my endorsement.

I have viewed all of Dominic's vids - well worth the view. My favorite video is: How to Win A Script Competiton.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFO5Fu-o3cQ&t=138s

I've also purchased services from Dominic - pricey - but to me, worth every dime. You get stuff you can use on all of your scripts.

BUT - you don't have to buy - the site is chock full of free info and advice

Thanks, Dave. What I like about Dominic is he's got the industry experience and the connections. A lot of folks selling script services out there have neither.

He also puts the work in and encourages others.

What a cool website.  I've read a couple of the articles and they are excellent.  The article on writing dialog is great for pointing out examples of basically the same things done different ways and why one works and one doesn't.  Great stuff.
