In 2001 it was Indiana Jones and the Lost Continent, which I thought was pretty cool.

That sounds awesome! I smell dinosaurs.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sounds like a cheap video game.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull -- like the title or not -- recently wrapped filming. Make sure you head over to the official website and check out the brief but excellent video that gives you a brief look at the wrap up.

That's pretty neat, but how long until a trailer is up?

Lucas has hinted that it's likely to be Valentine's Day, which isn't too far away.

The crystal skull looks pretty menacing as well. So far as good.

Rumor is Entertainment Tonight debuts the trailer on 14th.

This looks good, especially it seems there are tie-ins to the 1st film, which will be neat. Lordy mama, let this be good, I am psyched for it.

13 feature scripts, 2 short subjects. One sale, 4 options. Nothing filmed. Damn.

Currently rewriting another writer's SciFi script for an indie producer in L.A.

I'll bet it has something to do with aliens.  It looks like the skull of a martian or something.

There is an unproduced IJ-4 script floating around about "saucer men from mars" or something like that.  They might not have used that script, but they might have kept that angle.

I would be pumped for a new IJ movie, too.  He is the rare character that improves with age, and I'll bet they play off of that.  IJ-3 was the best of the lot, I think.

It's either that or Bono.

The trailer is expected to be online at various sites in a matter of hours, but if you just can't wait that long then Ain't It Cool News has a bootleg copy of the teaser available here.

Enjoy.

Hey... That looks really good. I guess it kinda has too though, after all the hype.

Haha -- who called it?  Oh, that's right, it was me.

About 2/3 of the way through -- just for a sec -- you see a crate marked "Roswell, NM."

Looked great...it was shown on broadcast TV in the US about half an hour ago, so saw it in a nice HD presentation.

As much as you can judge by a trailer, it looks great. A few funny lines acknowledging Ford/Indy's age, what looks to be some great action set pieces - loved the shot of Indy's shadow on the car as he puts the hat on. Spielberg still knows how to push those buttons.
Ok I am officially jazzed to see this now!
