According to Production Weekly, Oded Fehr is set to reprise his role as Carlos Olivera for the next Resident Evil film.

Now originally, the producers were looking to film this one in Australia. But it seems they’ve changed their mind and are now headed to Mexicali.

The main setting for “Extinction” is the desert. In the film, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is apparently leading a procession of humans across the Nevada desert on a long trek towards Alaska whilst avoiding the stalk of the undead minions of the wily Dr. Isaacs (Iain Glen). Mike Epps, who also appeared in the last sequel, is back for this one too.

Did they take the script review down?  All I see is the comments from reviewers, but I don't see the actual script review.

Same here. I wanted to see what was said. I HATED the first two with a passion and wanted to see how bad I should hate this one.

Aww, me like the first two. The first one was good but the second was just 'cool'. I'm not the biggest fan of the games so I didn't and don't care how much they mess with the storyline or characters. Can't wait until Extinction comes out. By the photos I've just seen, it looks pretty cool too.

Yeah, appears that the review is down. I'll keep an eye out for it on other sites. If anyone wanted to know, the review was a mixed one. He described it as "an improvement on the first two, but that’s not saying much"

If you expect much from these types of films of course you're going to hate them.

Wesley that is one of the funniest posts I have ever seen you post.  Why is it that when people hate something, they give it extra attention?  Even more than people that like it?

You make a good point about expecting much from the movies though, and ending up hating them.  That is very true.  The video games themselves are kind of sheisty when it comes to storyline, so I don't understand why people are expecting this Oscar nominating picture.

It's good, clean, action fun.  It seems like people want to convince themselves that the movies are bad before they even see them.  I admit, the second one was done very poorly, but that was because they had some crackpot newbie director make it.  But that shouldn't automatically dismiss the entire franchise.

I don't know.  Now I'm just rambling.  I just know I really want to see this.

That seems kind of far away, especially since I've heard that production has already wrapped. This kind of reminds me of the insane wait for the first one.

Ooh Ali Larter is in this film? Cool! I liked the Resident Evil movies, though I wish they'd make them more gory...but other than that, I like them.
