First teaser:

I liked the first one, but this one seems kind of unnecessary. The teaser is promising, though so we'll see. What do you guys think?

I can't live the buttoned-down life like you. I want it all. The dizzying highs, the terrifying lows, the creamy middles. Sure, I may offend some of the blue bloods with my cocky stride and musky odors. Oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "city fathers," who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards and talk about what's to be done with this Homer Simpson?

Ugh, I hope it's not some bigger-budget crap. The trailer looked really good and was actually a bit creepy until the very end when they showed the woman standing in the door. The dog got up to bark and the baby was staring at the door, and I thought that something creepy was going to happen, and then it just showed the woman. I hope it's not like the first one (same story, same everything). Though, I do enjoy the fact that they're shot with security cameras this time. That'll be different, and I wonder how they'll deliver the scares with that?

Most sequels are unnecessary. I, personally, didn't think the first one was all that.  I give the director credit for making such a popular movie with such a small budget.

I don't think a sequel should be made for any movie unless it was planned all along.  And I don't think it was intended.  And it wasn't in PA.

Phil, love the sig.

I think this will be about as bad as Blair Witch 2. That's pretty fucking bad.

Trailer was amusing, but they always are. Ill watch it. When it comes to HBO for free.

i honestly dont see what the big hype about the first one was all about. it was probably one of the worst movies of that year (i distinctly remember falling asleep in the theatre because i was so bored). with that being said, i cant believe theyre making another one...and using a baby to create tension. doesnt bother me none, i hate babies.

IIRC, I fell asleep watching it, too.  The baby is just a prop in this movie, to make the viewer frightened for something.

I'm more concerned for the dog.

Dudes, what's with the judgment? Are you forgetting that this movie hasn't actually come out yet? How do you know that this isn't the most inovative movie sequel since Godfather II? It's not all that likely, but it could conceivably happen. Were you all really that scarred by the first film? It wasn't that bad...

I just want to point out that in the very last shot. The baby is in the mirror. But, the question is: how is it being reflected? Editing mistake? Or a plot twist? We will find out soon...

Godfather II?

Seriously?

Do you really think that this movie has a snowball's chance of being anywhere near as good as Godfather II?

Of course not. I'm just saying that the teaser is a little vague on the specifics of the film. It could turn out to be fantastic but you guys are already shitting all over it like it was Exorcist II: The Heretic.

You posted it Matt. I didn't know you made it too.

If it's good i'll give it credit. I've just seen too many times when Hollywood capitalizes on a sequel of an original idea. Promptly turns it to shit, but still makes their money cuz we're all such stupid asses. Run out and buy a ticket.

Don't take this so personally. But, it gonna fucking suck.

I agree with James.  I'll wait for it to come out, but I don't have much hope for it.

It's fine not to hold any hope, but it's pointless to say that the film will suck when you haven't seen it yet. On the other hand, there's every chance it will actually suck and if it does, then I retract everything I've said on this thread.

But back to the film, I thought this was pretty amusing.

Yeah.  Well, like James and I have stated, we both fell asleep during it.  I don't think I did this during Godfather II.

It was silly, to mention these two movies in the same sentence... same thread for that matter.

Fair enough. But I still think this has a chance of being pretty cool.
