Best trailer I've seen so far this year.
Every effects shot landed for me, except the first one. LOL.

Cuaron's really experimenting with cameras and long takes.
The opening shot if the film is: 17 minutes!

Makes me wonder if he's trying to get his Kubrick freak on.
I hope he pushes the boundaries of the medium.

I might not be a sci-fi fan anymore, but Ray Bradbury had me intrigued when I was younger.

I just checked wiki and imdb to see if they gave him a nod... nothing yet.

Good God.  $80,000,000 budget.  How much does a green screen and imac cost nowadays?


Working with a couple of guys who worked on this. This was crewed up back in 2011 and I believe it overran. That's gonna kill your budget, especially on the above the line costs.

Does look intriguing.
