Looks like it's going to be a lot different than the first film.

If you like horror, I highly recommend the first Wolf Creek. It's so effective and well-crafted all around. One of my favorite horror movies.

I hope this one doesn't disappoint!

Hmm, looking forward to this - will be interesting to see the finished product. I just hope the Mad Mick Taylor character doesn't end up looking like a parody. Appears from the trailer to be borrowing a little 'Duel' action too and was that a little pun on 'Fight Club'?

I agree with you crooked, the first one was great. Some of the dialogue in this trailer doesn't come across as that great to me though, and definitely is not a good advertisement in terms of Aussie tourism.

I loved the first one as well. I remember renting it when I was younger and absolutely loving it. I now have a double feature DVD, with both Rogue and Wolf Creek on it.

SPOILERS SPOILERS: I loved how they made you forget about the dude, and then in the end he escapes.

END SPOILERS...

I love the horror you Aussie's put out. The Reef was suspenseful as all hell, as well.

A bad writer, trying to become decent...

Thank you for all who put up with my work and try and help me improve.

Practice will hopefully pay off for my writing.

If you liked that one you should have a gander at 'Black Water' 2007. Only rates a 5.9 on IMDB but that may be due to limited release i.e., only in Oz at the time, I think. Terrific little film - better than Rogue, I reckon - no offence Mr Mclean.

I'm going to check out Rogue and Black Water soon. I need to see more Australian horror. Looks like they're making the best horror movies these days.

I'd be interested to see how this one turns out. I liked Wolf Creek but you could essentially boil it down to 4-5 simple events. There really wasn't much to it at all. Hopefully, they can up the scale with this one. What with the giant truck and burning police cars, it seems like that could be the case.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first film, but I totally loved 'Rogue'.
I can understand why there's a sequel to Creek, and from the looks of things, I would have to agree. It does look like it leans towards suspense thriller than horror. But that's understandable. Sequels have to up the ante just a bit.

Black Water better than Rogue, LC? I thought it was good, but not as good as Rogue.
Note: BOTH were far better than Primeval (2007)

Yeah I came across the movie while looking up the makers of the Reef. Want to see it, but gotta find where I can get it first. Some searching online may fair me well.

Ah well, I watched it thinking it might not be that much chop and really thought it was a terrific ride. I liked Rogue as well, just appreciated the compact story and smaller cast with Black Water. Rogue was more of a 'commercial' film and fair play to that.

@ Dustin - yep, Aussies make some good thrillers. It's just a shame the film (and TV) industry is so small, that nepotism is rife, and that they don't tend to cast outside of the small 'famous group' of actors playing the lead roles over and over again. Other actors are available.
