If it's an effective method of interrogation for you
you're darned right I'm putting it up.

Other than that, good job on cracking the top three.
Did I read you yet? No? Aw, shucks.

(I will though. When I'm sober stone cold drunk)

Hey peeps, in all seriousness...

I'm very surprised so few have chimed in and/or taken credit for their work.

Looks like only a few provided ZERO reads, and we know who you are, so..get on it, damnit!

It only make sense to jump in and say a few words about your entry.  Peeps actually do want to know what you have to say and we are interested.

On a different note, it always does surprise me how many peeps want to immediate do a rewrite and re-post.  In all seriousness (damn, that's twice I've  said that), step back and take it all in before you worry about rewriting this or anything.

And when you do, lose the strict parameters that brought many an entry down.  Write it how you want to and don't worry about each and every requirement.

OWC's are great tools to learn how to write under the gun on subjects that may not thrill you.

I know I was harsh at times, and I apologize if anyone's feelings were seriously hurt.  Not my aim in any way.  Everyone who entered deserves a big pat on the back, and for the ladies, that could be a pat on the bum...

I was kidding, Darren.

Don't break your streak now, bro.  I don't need any reads from you.  Keep your total at zero.  I like when peeps owe me something, and you, my friend, owe me about 14 or 15 reads.

You're a sneaky mime, you are!

This is your whole review of my owc last year(first one I ever wrote in my life)

Sorry, I'm out again in less than 3 passages.  Doesn't work as written at all, and this is so over written, as others have mentioned.

Congrats on completing an entry for the October OWC.

So this year is a big leap for me...and you were actually 'soft' compared to normal Jeff!

Who is in your consideration?  It fucking better be Cowboy Sam!!

And to all who didn't believe me about not writing Cowboy Sam, what do you have to say now?  Huh?  HUH?

Leon, you rock, bro!!!  Amazing effort and I do actually really mean that.  Your script will live on forever, at least for me.

I was pretty sure Ryan had actually written it.  Then, I thought maybe Led had thrown it together on a bender Friday night.

Maybe people are Halloweening tonight, Jeff. Not everyone sits home alone with a sad tray of snacks and light beers!!

Like me. I sit home alone with nothing because I can't afford snacks or light beer. Why do you have to make fun of me?!

Jeff is always soft. No wonder he can't get a root...

Cheers to all who read Blood Ties. It came out a bit different to how I imagined it, but I was happy with it.

Like all of my OWC entries, I won't be re- writing it. I have other things to work on.

Pia, feel free to do stuff with it if u like. Cornie gave it a good rap, as did Ray( sort of).

Congrats to the top three! I voted for Skiptrace but liked Jeff's; had no idea it was his, either.

Yeah, I liked Skip[trace as well.  Thought sure it would make the top 3 or so.

Stevie, I'm not going to be soft for long....actually, I'm going to be long!

yeah, I wish.  No Halloweening for me.  I need a mime or 2...

Funny thing is, reading your review, I think you've warmed up to it over time. Just a funny thing I noticed when I replied to Pia and Dan.

Congrats to the winners.

Dena you're a legend, can you please email me a signed autograph, before you become famous. Hee Hee.

Sorry I didn't have enough time to read all the screenplays, as I was snowed under. I was stuck in a motel during a hurricane !!!!

Regards Alex

I think I was fairly positive about it, wasn't I?  Easily in the top 7 or 8 for me.

But peeps seemed to love it, so I assumed it would be a finalist.

Sean, as I've told you, I think you're a good writer and I wish more had, or will read your Christmas Story script.  It has lots going for it, and you know I rarely say that.

Did you comment on any, Alex?  I don't recall seeing you say anything, but I could be wrong.
