Thanks for all the feedback, super useful as always and will be included in the re-write...

To cover some comments and questions...

Students at Oxford and how they dress, well some of them, are scruffy, they only wear gowns and formal attire for certain occasions and events.*

She blags the invite to see the collection because she's from the same College he taught at, the college system is very important in Oxford.*

Darren - I think you may have missed some bits... He was the one that collected the books, it wasn't a secret just in a locked cabinet which you need an appointment to actually see/handle the books. The students at Oxford and those at Oriel college in particular have been trying to distance themselves from the Rhodes legacy for years, it's the College itself that has been reluctant.*

Comedy - yes, definitely gentle kind with a punchline at the end, the type of comedy I tend to watch... but completely fair to say it's light on it, not my strongest genre.

*The Oxford stuff, Oriel etc is all fairly accurate - my son just graduated after 3 years at that college
