Three singles posted and I'm thinking it's not necessarily the artists but the song titles since the selections are very specific? Suffragette City/Stay, Aeroplane, and Chained to the Studio. The only common thread that I see is that all the covers are B&W or sepia tone. No clue, just chasing my tail. |

Chris popped up on Zack's Birthday thread just the other day.
Having said that, I know nothing. (Insert evil laugh). |

Actually, a common thread is Suffragette City appears on all three albums, three different versions of Suffragette City that is… by heroin addicts, lol. Also, ambiguous as in a ‘heroine’ female lead: Suffragette definition is - a woman who advocates suffrage for women. Story with a female Social Justice Warrior as lead protag? OMG... kill me, kill me now. Maybe a famous line “Oh, wham, bam, thank you, Ma'am” (could be gratuitous sex, one night stand). Song curiously has a false ending, maybe a story with a false ending? Or none of the above…? |

The clues refer to the type of challenge, but not the theme.

The Wham Bam Thank You Mam is a reference to a quickie. Whether it's a reference to a quickie challenge is another question. |

When is the OWC likely to be announced? I may be going away for a few days and would hate to miss it. Is the OWC announced with no forewarning - we're unable to plan for them?

Not exactly sure, Wayne.
Except announcement of clues usually indicates soonish.

If I were to pick a Bowie single, it would probably be "Heroes." Can't say I'm overtly familiar with "Aeroplanes," though I think it's on their Greatest Hits CD. Not familiar with Chained to the Studio.
And if I picked three random rock songs, I'm not sure they'd necessarily all be singles. And most likely not as recent as Alice or Chilli Peppers.
I'm stumped. And I'm certainly not running this (to my knowledge). Too busy/preoccupied/too much unfinished business. (Catching up on movies/TV, etc.) |
