I've been lurking around here for a few days now and thought I'd finaly join the board.

Hi. I'm 22 years old and I've been writing comedy for about a year now. I feel drained. I'm full of ideas but I just feel drained. I need someone to bounce ideas off!

I studied to become an actor but decided to change my career a few years back. I wouldn't call myself the most talented person in the world. My problem is, I am not excellent at one thing, I'm just good at everything. (Shoot, write, edit, music etc.)!

I'm in need of someone who can fit these requirements:
- I'm looking for a collaboration with someone who is London based.
- Must not talk about themselves in third person.
- Must enjoy writing comedy and have at least a page of crap to show me!

In return you'll get the same. Let me know if you are interested. I'm just gonna sit here hitting the refresh button!

Thanks

Hi there sh33phead. I myself am looking for a writing partner at the moment. Despite the fact I'm mostly looking to co-write action films and so forth, I also happen to have plenty of ideas for comedies. I'm 24 and have been writing for about 2 years now. I'm kind of running out of ideas at the moment, but some of the treatments I've written recently are pretty solid. I live in Walton-On-Thames in Surrey and I can easily travel to London if need be. I don't talk about myself in 3rd person and I do enjoy writing comedy, though all I've written is a pilot for a sitcom. Despite that, I'm still pretty damn good at writing and I know how to use Final Draft fluently.

So, I'm very interested in working with you and if you'd like to take a look at some of my work, then feel free to read my "F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon" screenplay which is in the unproduced section. It's a sci-fi action movie based on the computer game. Bare in mind I wrote it last year and it's not the best thing I've written, but it gives you an example of my writing. I've also written a semi-professional drama called "In the Shadow of My Father". If you'd like to read that too, I'll e-mail it to you. I hope to hear from you soon.

I've just find out that my FEAR script is missing from the unproduced section. Either that or I can't find it. It's still on my hard drive and in the mean time I'll try and find more of my early work.
